My Yahoo Email Keeps Sending Messages Out To People On My Contacts List By Itsel

My yahoo email keeps sending out emails to my whole contact list even thought I have erased most of them. Then it sends me an email saying that the following messages could not be sent. Does anyone know how to stop this its been a couple of months and Ive tried contacting someone from yahoo but no response.

So your Yahoo email account was hacked and hijacked. Do you have another email account? Do you have better security now to protect that account? If not get another account and do beef up your security.

There isn't much that can be done to stop what's already been happened but you can do more to prevent it in the future when so many Yahoo accounts are being hacked.

Go to the Yahoo Customer Service Tech Support: https://edit.yahoo.com/forgotroot and select the appropriate answer to begin contact. Yes, it is difficult to get through. Be prepared with all info because what is done depends upon you.

Do make sure in the future not to open email from suspect sourves and be careful about the links you click in those emails as well as the attachments.

Apologize to all of those friends and acquaintances who are now receiving potentially dangerous spam or phishing emails under the guise of being from you. Usually they are pretty easy to spot. Do not provide your new email until you feel confident that you are sending from a secure account. And do make sure to change your email address with any companies from whom you want or need to receive email.

Then close the old email account and set up a 3rd account as a backup. Open it from time to time to keep it active. Or separate newsletters to one account and personal correspondence to another.
