Windows Live Hotmail Account Access Problem
A279;How can you regain access to a hotmail account when you have lost the secret answer and password - also dont have a lot of details about the account. Its an elderly person's account who had a friend set up the account for him, now he cannot get hold of that person anymore and cannot remember the password or secret answer. I am an IT technician and I am trying to assist him.

After several unsuccessful sign in attempts, Windows Live ID automatically sets a "locked out" period. This prevents access to your account, even when the correct password is supplied for security reasons.
