Oven Light Reset Button

The oven light flashes but does not stay on when you open the oven door, I can hear it clicking but won"t stay on. The resetbutton beside the plug that is on top of the stove is tripped and will not reset which makes the plug not working at all. Tried to hold it down to reset it but will not work.
