Wtw7000dw Lid Lock Broken

I bought this washer about 7 mos ago and the lid locking mechanism is not working, and leaves a soapy residue on my clothes. It should be under warranty and i need to get this fixed asap.. How do I go about getting this repaired. Thank you for your support, sincerely Janet Garcia

1. If the washer is under warranty, just call Whirlpool to ask for warranty service. See the contact information here--https://www.contacthelp.com/whirlpool/customer-service.
