Whirlpool Cabrio Wtw6800ww - Overfills Then Drains Out And Turns Off

I found the code OL on my washer. Watched a cycle and found the washer would fill with way too much water then drain out w/o going thru the cycle. The washer was put on drain and spin selection to allow for clothing removal. Isthis likely to be an expensive repair? Washer is 11 years old.
