Why Is My Wtw57esvw Not Run Through Wash Cycle Properly?

When starting a washload, my machine begins agitating the clothes as soon as the cycle starts and seems to be stuck in this mode as it runs through the wash cycle.  Spin cycle does not work, when cycle is done clothes are sopping wet, though most of the water does drain from machine by end of load cycle.
