Whirlpool Wtw4816fw3 Top Load Washing Machine

Whirlpool WTW4816FW3 top load washing machineConfused about COLD settings. When CYCLE (middle knob) is set to COLD WASH, does that override the TEMPERATURE Setting (2nd knob from left) or must TEMPERATURE setting also have to be on COLD?

The Whirlpool WTW4816FW3 is a top-loading washing machine with a capacity of 3.5 cubic feet. It features a number of wash cycles and options, including a heavy-duty cycle, a gentle cycle, and a quick wash cycle. The machine also has a number of features designed to make washing clothes more convenient, such as a Load & Go system that allows you to load detergent, bleach, and fabric softener into the machine in advance, and a built-in faucet that allows you to pretreat stains. The machine also has a Load Sense feature that adjusts the wash cycle based on the weight of the load, and a temperature control feature that allows you to adjust the water temperature for each wash cycle.
