I Have A 2009 Duet Washer Model #wfw9400sw04 & Water Pours Out Of Bottom!

Just had it repaired as the gasket spring came loose. Rubber gasket got twisted up in laundry & shut machine off when I smelled a burning smell......Is washing machine gone or can it be repaired?  Don't understand why it's leaking water now.  Really angry that it's just 3 years old and I spent good $$$ on it!
