Pedestal On Whirlpool Wfw9050xw00

I have a Whirpool WFW9050XW00 sitting on the optional pedestal. The washer has the rubber feet just sitting on the Pedestal. It appears that the washer should be bolted to the pedestal. The use and care Guide mentions that a pedestal is avaliable, but gives no instaltaion instructions. So question is Should I bolt it on?
