I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your Whirlpool WFW8620HW washing machine. The error codes F5 and E3 indicate a problem with the door lock mechanism. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

1. Power Cycle: Start by unplugging the washing machine from the power supply for about 1-2 minutes. Then, plug it back in. This can help reset the electronics and potentially clear the error codes.

2. Check the Door: Ensure that the washer door is closed properly and that there are no obstructions preventing it from locking. Look for any items, such as clothing or debris, around the door that may be interfering with the latch or lock mechanism. Clean the area if necessary.

3. Inspect the Lock Mechanism: Locate the door lock assembly on the washing machine. It's usually located near the door latch. Check if there are any visible signs of damage or wear, such as a broken latch or loose connections. If you notice any issues, it may be necessary to replace the door lock mechanism.

4. Contact Whirlpool Support: If the error codes persist after attempting the above steps, I recommend reaching out to Whirlpool's customer support for further assistance. They will have a more in-depth understanding of the error codes and can guide you through additional troubleshooting steps or advise on potential repairs or replacements.

When contacting customer support, have your washing machine's model number and any warranty information available. This will help facilitate the support process.
