In the Whirlpool WFE550S0LZ oven, during convection or air fry mode, the fan is supposed to operate intermittently rather than staying on continuously.

The purpose of the fan is to circulate hot air evenly throughout the oven cavity, ensuring more consistent cooking results. During these cooking modes, the heating elements indeed cycle on and off to maintain the desired temperature.

The fan helps distribute the hot air generated by the heating elements, resulting in faster and more even cooking.

If you notice that the fan is not operating at all or is not functioning properly during these modes, I recommend checking the oven's user manual or contacting Whirlpool customer support for further assistance. They will be able to provide you with specific troubleshooting steps or determine if there might be an issue with the oven's fan or heating elements.

I hope this is helpful? PLEASE "ACCEPT" and mark it "HELPFUL" to complement my little effort. Hope to bring you more detailed answers.
