Disassemble Oven Door On Whirlpool Wfe540h0ah

My wife spilled hot chocolate inside the oven door of a Whirlpool Model WFE540H0AH. I am trying to disassemble the door so she can clean it. But ther are screws on the bottom of the door I can't get to with the door on the oven. There are screws on the oven that apparently hold the hinge on the door to the oven. I'm afraid to remove the screws since I can't tell how hard it will be to reattach the door with the hinges.. I'm afraid I would then have to take the whole front of the oven apart to get it back together, just digging a deeper hole. Thanks for any help. Will
