Knob Not At Off When Clothes Done- Can Hear Ticking. Is It A Problem?

on energy preferred setting- after alarm beeps indicating clothes dry, knob not at off & can hear ticking noise. Is dryer still running? Fire hazard? Should I manually turn knob to off?

Not dangerous, it's just the timer running. This is common especially if the cycle is interrupted prematurely. You can advance the timer to off if you wish.
