Whirlpool Mt4155sps Shuts Off Then Turns On.

Hi, I have a Whirlpool MT4155SP-2 (in cabinet) Microwave.  I am having a problem where the unit runs and shuts off, runs shuts off along with the light.  Could this be the thermostat?  If not, do you have any ideas?   Thanks for your help.   Toby Hensley
