Ice Maker Problem
Ice is accumulating in the opening above where you put the glass underneath to get ice to come out. The freezer setting is on the recommended setting. There is not alot of food in the freezer. There is not an abundance of ice in the bin. There is frost in this inside area as well. Can you assist with any ideas? Thanks! John

The flapper door that allows ice to fall through to the front of the freezer door is probably dislodged or broken allowing warm moist air up into the freezer compatment. This is causing the frost. BE VERY CAREFUL when trying to fix this flapper. If the part of the freezer door gets broken that is holding the flapper you will need to replace THE ENTIRE FREEZER DOOR!! I'm presently attempting to do some kind of jury rigging because I refuse to buy a whole new door...
