Freezer Automatic Defrost.
Last night I noticed hissing sounds from my freezer. I pulled the bottom drawer out and saw in the automatic defrost box that there is a heating element similar to a range element on a stove. It was glowing just like your cooktop does when it is on high heat. Is this normal?
