Whirlpool Model: Ed2kvexvl - Not Cooing Under 50 Degrees

I just purchased the fridge and according to the two seperate thermometers I have inside the fridge part the system wont cool less than 48 degrees. I have now set the cooling knob to the coldest setting and still nothing. Any thoughts/suggestions on how this can be fixed? Thank you, Heather
