Good morning,
A customer of mine is interested in buying this hard drive, and would like to know if it can be used on the Windows Server 2008?

Yes. Western Digital and any other hard disk drive are compatible with Windows Server 2008. The most important aspect that you have to consider is the compatibility of your computer to the system requirements of Windows Server 2008.
