Cannot Find Drivers For Linux For Western Digital Hard Disk : Wdcwd 1200js-55m.
Good morning, i have a Western Digital server with hard disk: wdcwd 1200js-55m. I want to install linux opensuse on this machine. So , i need the drivers for linux. I have searched for a long time , but have found nothing. I was wondering if you could help me with my problem. I would really appreciate any help. I am looking forward to hearing from you. From what I've read, linux requires no additional drivers to use any given hard drive/HD, as long as the computer's BIOS can recognize the hard disk then almost any linux should be able to use it.
If you want to install SUSE Linux itself that's very different from a hard disk driver, a web search for "install SUSE" would knock your socks off.
SUSE seems to have excellent support, maybe a quick web search for your hard disk type & SUSE would be more helpful.
