Hard Drive No Longer Works?
I plug the hard drive into the wall outlet and nothing happens, no light on the unit, no vibration, nothing internal. Western Digital My Book Essential 1 Terabyte (1TB) USB 2.0 Western Digital WD10000H1U-00

Regular hard drives are prone to malfunction at a regular basis. They are not a reliable source when it comes to witholding important information. Now people use cloud sharing or an SSD drive where yo can safely store information. Im sorry but I think the info in your drive is lost ;(
