Over Heating?

i've had my weslo crosswalk 5.2t treadmill for less than a year and just this week after running for about an hour i've noticed a burning plastic smell coming from my treadmill. i opened the front and i didn't see anything wrong. But the belt and motor are warm...which is understandable because i just used it. Not sure if i'm thr only one with this problem?

If you ran for an hour, doesn''t your body get hot :). I think with vigorous exercise you can expect the unit to get warm. Your biggest concern is that you aren't operating your treadmill on an overloaded circuit. Your electrical plug needs to be capable of furnishing up to a 15 amp load & should be the only thing using that outlet. Slots and openings in the treadmill and TV are provided for ventilation, to ensure reliable operation, and to help prevent overheating. These openings must not be blocked or cov- ered. Do not place the treadmill on any sur- face that blocks openings or near a radiator or other heat source. If you need more information I suggest you CALL TOLL-FREE:
