I Started The Latest Firmware Update As Instructed Now It Wont Turn On. Help Me

i followed the instructions word for word, turned off when intsructed when i turned it back on i got the opening sound then just a blank screen and thats how its been ever since. any idea how to reverse the firmware update. the laptop does not now recognise that the innotab is connected
