What Is 'normal' Oil Consumption For The Xc60 D5 2.4 Engine ?

What is normal for oil consumption for the XC60 D5 2.4.? The car has done 86,000miles and uses litre bt 18,000 oil changes. Is this about correct as I am about to change for another XC60 and thie one is to be bought from me by my son?
