Coolant Leakage

Coolant started leaking.  It looked like it was coming from the hose. Tightened it up and discovered a hair line crack in the tank.  Ordered a new one...but now it won't hold coolant at all...just runs through!  Suggestions?  Don't know if the new tank will help...
