Recording/overwriting Issue

My Vivitar 787hd has a 32gb SD and everytime I turn it onto record my Airsofting games it will record for 30 minutes, then start a new recording. Now this wouldn't be a problem if it would stop recording over the previous recording. I have made sure it's not on dashcam mode, so I have no idea. I have yet to hear of ANYONE who has this problem which makes me wonder if it could just be a setting I need to change. Either way, help would be appreciated.
