If I Use Google Voice As My Main Phone Line Will It Count Towards My Minutes?

Im switching from MetroPCS to Virgin Mobile. I already know that I can use PDANet to tether my phone and hide the data useage while Im on my pc. If I use Google Voice for my main phone line theoretically it should count towards my data limit and not my minutes hopefully. That way I can still have (almost)unlimited everything and only be on the $35 monthly plan. This isn't something I can really ask virgin mobile support.

If you use google voice which is over the internet then you will not waste your minutes at all. :)
