Text Message

I am receiving a text from someone I want to block. How do I go about doing this? I am pay as you go and it is costing me a fortune. I only use my phone approximately 1 hour per week. These text's are using up all my money..PLEASE HELP!! I don't want to have to turn my phone off for good. I can't afford to put time on my phone once a week. I usually put $25.00 per month. At this rate, I'm putting time on every week. Not happy.
