phone says contacts has stopped also gallery have stopped what do I do?

try going into your contacts and your galley.

If they force closed thats the android os's way of stopping an error. The apps can just start back up when they are needed. Neither one need to be and shouldn't be running all the time anyway.

If they wont let you open them again then restart your phone. They will probably work afterwards.If not you have some damaged system files . A hard reset should fix that.

If you arent running a task killer app, you may want to consider it. Theres alot of free ones on the market and most work pretty well. I like all-in-one toolbox personally but thats just my preference.

The phone will work better and faster without all those unneeded processes running in the background
