What Is A Sip Account On My Kyocera Event?

Sip is short for Sipgate which is a type of internet phone service like voip or google voice. If you have it enabled and are connected to wifi or at least decent 3G service you can use an app like sipdroid and sign up with sip2sip you can make calls without using your minutes. It would count towards your 2,560 MB data cap. I believe it only works for talking to other sip users.
