How to Put Ringtones on Your Phone With a USB Cord: 1. Insert one end of your USB cable into the USB port on your computer and insert the other into your cell phone. 2. Locate the ringtones in your computer's library. For ease of transfer, you can save all of the ringtone files in one folder and place the folder on your desktop. 3. Wait for a new desktop icon to load onto your desktop for the connection with your cell phone, or click the "Computer" tab in your computer's main menu to access the new USB drive on your computer. There will be an icon for the new USB connection near your DVD, CD and partition drives. 4. Open the folder with your new ringtones on your computer and select the files in the folder. Drag and drop these files onto either the new icon on your desktop or the USB drive in your "Computer" folder. Allow a few seconds for the files to load to your phone, and you will be free to disconnect the devices to access the new tones on your cell phone.
