Left Oven & Spark Issues On Vdsc548

The left side control board was replaced after it was damaged by water that caused breaker to trip. I beleive there may have been a temporary fix by a repair person to allow the right oven to function but not the the left. The electric ignition spark was also not available. This repair person is no longer available to ask what may have been done to bypass the left board. The left board is now replaced and all wiring connectors fit to the board but ignition spark doesn't work and when left oven is turned on, it appears to start up then a few seconds later stops with self clean light on. The left board LED does come on as well. Right oven works as before. Is there a bypass for the left board that could have been made?

I'm not sure this will help you but I can offer few suggestions that can help you:-
  1. Check wiring connection:- Double-check all the wiring connections related to the left control board and ignition system. Make sure everything is properly connected and secure.
  2. Reset the Appliance: Sometimes, power cycling the appliance by turning off the circuit breaker for a few minutes and then turning it back on can help reset any temporary issues.
  3. User Manual: Refer to the user manual or technical documentation for your appliance. It might provide troubleshooting steps or information about error codes that could help diagnose the issue.
  4. Contact Professional Service: If the issue persists, it's advisable to consult a professional appliance technician who is experienced with your specific brand and model. They might have insights into potential bypasses or issues that could be causing the problem.
  5. Manufacturer Support: You could also reach out to the manufacturer's customer support. They might be able to provide guidance or suggest authorized repair technicians in your area.

Remember that working with electrical appliances can be dangerous, and if you're not experienced, it's best to consult a professional technician to avoid potential safety risks.
