Forgot Password And Don't Have Access To That Work Email Account What Can I Do?

I started up a twitter account using my work email account and no longer have access to this email account. Hence due to forgetting what the password is I can not have the password reset as this option would be sent to my old work email address, which no longer exists. How can I get this resolved?

just go to twitter.com and click on the forgot password link this will take you to the page where it will ask for your email address just submit your email address and they will send your new password to your email inbox.

Twitter advise, see their 'I Can't Log In' help page (15365), that if you have forgotten the password and no longer have access to the registered email account they are unable to release the Twitter account to you: "...to prevent Twitter accounts falling into the wrong hands."
