Transmitter On Ear Force Tango Stop Working

Yesterday i had to boot my xbox, it was connected to the ear force tango, when i turned it back on, the led for dthe digital in was off, and i had no sound on the headphone, i tried everything from switching the optic cable from xbox to my tv, to reseting the ear force anda pairing it again, nothing works, is there something i can do or its just broken and i have to take it back to the store?
