How Can I Open A 2010 Turbo Tax File

I assume you have the *.tax2010 data file as opposed to a .PDF . The data file can only be opened by the 2010 TurboTax program.

If the 2010 TT program is installed and updated, then launch it and click the FILE menu in the upper left corner and choose "Open Tax Return". Then browse to the location of your *.tax2010 data file.

NOTE: If your 2010 tax data file contains state info, be sure your 2010 TT program has the state program downloaded and updated prior to opening the tax data file to prevent program errors.
