Your Computer Said That My Federal Tax Return Had Been Accepted. I Got A Letter

From the IRS requesting payment and late fee. Were taxes paid or no?

If you didn't write a check or pay your taxes online according to what the return says you owe, it is not surprising that you got a letter and a late fee.
