Why Hasnt My Refund Gotten Approved By The Irs ?

i received an email from turbotax stating my refund was accepted but when i go to check on the irs website it doesnt say that it says still processing. does this mean something went wrong with my refund? whats going on ?

i am going thru a similar prob with them..i think the reason the computer is saying that is because the IRS is so far behind this yr that all checks will be behind schedule..and to be safe go back and get a phone number and call them because if you don't it could be longer example i am waiting started in Feb january 30 to be exact had one issue had to wait for a letter had i not called after 3 weeks it would have been longer a few days i called oh there was a signature mistake we are sending out a letter that was 5 weeks ago so keep calling and stay on it or it could be awhile hope this helps

There is a big difference between having no errors in your return and the IRS accepting your return, which can take up to 72 hours after submission. Refunds are also being delayed by 1-2 weeks because of the last-minute "fiscal cliff" and passage of tax laws.
