How To Get A Downgrade Code

Should be easy without sitting on hold for 45 minutes. Need to downgrade from Deluxe to Basic Need a downgrade code to finish up

You may be able to downgrade. Just keep in mind that if the TurboTax program determines that you need an upgrade in order to properly file your return (based on your data entry), you'll be required to upgrade. (That may not be your case, but TurboTax can't file a return that is incomplete).

See this TurboTax FAQ for information on how to downgrade. You'll need to contact TurboTax Customer Support. Use the "contact us" hyperlink below. You'll need to answer a few questions first (necessary to connect you to the right assistant), then select either Call or Chat. Business hours are 5AM to 9PM Pacific time. During those hours, you'll see a contact telephone number. Wait times also display there. If you still feel better suited using another TurboTax version, contact us to inquire about the possibility of a one-time price adjustment. You can try to if none of the above works for you then contact Ttax CS @ 888-777-3066: press 3 then 2.
