I Bought Trend Micro But My Netbook Wont Accept Serial No. And Laptop Froze 85%

I bought 3 computer trent micro at pc world. Tried to install it on my old netbook when a trial I had downloded expired but it won'nt accept the serial number. My daughter is also trying to load it to a new laptop using the disc but it has frozen at 88 percent. HELP!
