Key And Ignition Problem

2012 sienna LE, the key won't go in the ignition. It goes in about 1/4 inch and that's it. The spear key does the same. I just used the car 2 consecutive times with no problems. Th key was out for 5 minutes when I went back it wouldn't go in. Any suggestions?
