Rough Running And Tapping From Engine

Just bought 1997 toyota camry 6 cyl from a toyota dealer and it seems like it runs rough and a tapping from engine compartment. Has 208,000 miles and had 2 owners. I bought the car 2 days ago and they have it in there repair shop to see if anything is wrong with car.
