Runs Hot

noticed the heater was blowing cooler than normal.. ND GAUGE showed to be getting up higher and so we pull over and pop hood steem was coming out of coolant resavoir , and the fans were not running water in radiator seemed to be circulating  when iwas able to get cap off can you please helpf
