The jack for changing the front and rear tires on a 1996 Toyota RAV4 is located in the spare tire well in the back of the vehicle. To access the jack, you will need to open the rear hatch and locate the spare tire. The jack is typically stored underneath the spare tire, along with the lug wrench and other tools.

To use the jack, first loosen the lug nuts on the tire you want to change using the lug wrench. Then, place the jack under the vehicle at the designated jacking point for the front or rear tires (consult your owner's manual for the exact location of the jacking points). Once the jack is in place, use the handle to raise the vehicle until the tire is off the ground.

Once the tire is off the ground, remove the lug nuts and take the tire off the vehicle. Then, place the new tire on the wheel hub and hand-tighten the lug nuts. Lower the vehicle back to the ground using the jack, and then use the lug wrench to fully tighten the lug nuts.
