1993 4runner Runs Rough With No Real Power. What Can I Do ?
I'm trying to figure out where to start. Engine run rough and has no real power from the take off. where should I look first?

Lack of power and hesitation on acceleration could be a clogged fuel filter. You should replace it every 10,000 miles. The fuel filter for your vehicle is probably in the engine compartment, near the driver's side firewall. If it isn't there, then it will be under the vehicle, along the driver's side frame rail.
Just be sure to remove the fuel pump relay and crank the engine a few times before working on the filter. That will relieve most of the fuel pressure and keep the fuel spillage to a minimum. The fuel relay should be in the engine compartment fuse box. It is usually marked "EFI" or similar (electronic fuel ignition).
P.S. I tried to upload a picture of the filter, but it didn't work. The filter is black and looks like a small canister.

you need to run at least 89 octain or higher.I know this cost more,but check your gas mileage it will more than pay for the extra money spent for fuel and watch your porformance, it will take about have an hourto pick-up the stronger fuel!It's not a tundra where you can burn anything because it has a coil for every cylinder!
