How To Restore Factory Settings On A New Hard Drive For Toshiba P755-s5320?

my new Toshiba Satellite P755-S5320 hard disk fails so I have to replace it with new hard drive, can I use my Toshiba recovery disks to reinstall all the preinstalled items that came with my laptop? I'm running windows 7 sp1, and I'm aware about the advanced format, should I have to worry about advanced format on my new Seagate LP 1TB hard drive?
