To clear the CMOS on your Toshiba Satellite L855-S5119 laptop, you will need to follow these steps:
- Turn off the laptop and unplug it from the power source.
- Locate the CMOS battery on the motherboard and remove it. This battery is a small, circular battery that looks like a watch battery.
- Wait for 10 to 15 minutes, then reinsert the battery.
- Plug in the laptop and turn it on.
- Go into the BIOS setup and reset the BIOS to default values.
- Save the changes and exit the BIOS.
- Your laptop should now be reset to its default settings and the CMOS should be cleared.
