I Need To Replace The Hard Drive. What One Should I Purchase?

Hi! The technician tested it & the HD is bad & needs to be replaced. Which one should I get & can I replace it myself? (Money's scarce & the tech wants $200.00 to do the work..if possible, I'd like to do the work myself)

The drive that came in your pc is 500gb , 5400rpm & 8mb cache buffer. I suggest you step up the rpm's & buffer maybe even double the capacity, if you could use the extra storage space & have the money to step up. Go to this page for more choices in capacity & transfer speeds, all 2.5 hdd will fit your laptop. Go to this page to view the toshiba brand replacements. If you can use common tools & can work with small parts you can change out your hard drive; go here & follow these steps. Good luck!
