Recording Different T.v. Channels Consecutively Using Convertr Box From Roof Ant

I purchased SD-V296KU DVD Video Player/Video Cassette Recorder and I do not have cable or satellite. It is connected to the TV through a converter box from the Antenna on the roof. I want to do timer recording of T.V. shows. I saw on the forum that you cannot choose the channel-that the VCR will only record the channel set on the converter box. But is there any way to consecutively record different channels from T.V. From example, channel 5 from 7-8 PM and channel 4 from 8-9 PM? Kathy
