No Longer Works!
Bought this unit 4 years ago. For the past year it has been acting up, showing pixels, freezing, not playing movies properly. I've blamed it on the movies, but they play well on my 3 laptops. Is it unfair to expect a DVD Player to last more than 4 years, especially if it is WELL cared for and in one location only? (Never moved around, no falls, blown clean with air can(compressed gas duster), etc.). Any way to find out if it can be fixed or replaced?

Some of the small electronics parts of your Toshiba SDP93S may have started to worn out. This is actually normal because electronics devices usually last an average of 3 years. Unfortunately, there is not other solution for this but to buy a brand new one.
