Won't Run

Why does my new Toro pacer#20334 start but won't continue running?

There could be several things causing it to start and then stop.  If your mower's gas cap has a vented hole in it, this hole could be stopped up or clogged.  Check the gas cap and clean it out if necessary.

The fuel in the mower could be low-quality or stale.  This can happen even if you just recently got it from the pump.  Try emptying the fuel tank and filling it with fuel from another source.

If it's not the gas cap or the fuel, you could have a blockage in your carburetor.  At this point it's probably best to get the mower serviced by a professional, unless you are comfortable taking the carburetor apart and cleaning it yourself.
