Thermador customer service's advice, "build your own cable."
So I did.
Go to a home supply store (Home Depot), get your desired length of 7-wire 16 gague wire in a cable (red, brown, orange, green, white, yellow, black), don't need the 7th wire (black) then look at the wiring diagram in your printed materials, or go on line for the instructions, and match up the wire colors. I used the green wire as the Thermador Yellow-Green, and used Yellow as the Thermador orange.
Use a metal junction box in the attic (for access) to connect the splice of the 6 wires to the Thermador plastic 6-wire connector plugs.
I'm not an electrician, and it only took me 15 minutes to make a 15' extension cable. Everything tested OK, and the vent hood and attic mounted blower is working great.
P.S. When I mentioned to the Thermador customer service person that Thermador should make and sell an extension cable, she replied, "good idea."
